Cisco CWDM GBIC 1470 work with 1470nm wavelength over single mode optical fiber, this GBIC transceiver max working distance is 80km, it is with dual SC optical interface and it is hot pluggable to use on the GBIC ports or slots on the network equipment. The CWDM GBIC 1470 transmitter section incorporates an advance CWDM DFB laser diode and laser driver that has temperature compensation and automatic power control circuit (APC) function. The CWDM GBIC 1470receiver section incorporates an efficient PIN photodiode and a TIA with AGC for wide receiving dynamic range.
